I feel Erevis and I are kindred spirits. All Formats Kindle Edition. And that made me curious. I always like this little nods. I am not digging Fleet very much. The first book starts kinda trillogy but it builds up in the middle and it finally speeds up during the ending. The fight sequences are awe-inspiring and exciting. I felt like no other books or characters could match that standard.

Along the way to this big-small ending, Kemp adds liberal doses of magical conflict, big mysteries, sword-toting bad-asses throwing down on smaller shrimps, the camaraderie of heroes-in-the-making, and some fun adventures.

Again, strong character development interspersed with deep and varied Realsmlore makes Kemp’s writing style highly addictive.

I also believe it was not wrote exceptionally well, but thats just my opinion. What a great idea, and what aplomb Kemp shows in his execution. However I did love Azriim a whole bunch and Riven is the most exciting. While he is a good character himself, something just dragged his scenes down.

The second part of the omnibus isn’t as acle as the first part. Azriim and Vraggen, throughout the course of the ttrilogy, are portrayed wonderfully. The main villain is great, but while being set up beautifully and described as incredibly powerful, he doesn’t do something incredible.
